G.P. Halpin, rider of Invinsible trained by Keith Henry Clarke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount emptied quickly and made a noise in running.

The Stewards interviewed J.A. Heffernan, rider of Lapilli (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that J. A. Heffernan was in breach of Regulation 10. 4 in that he had failed to give his mount sufficient time to respond to the whip. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended J.A. Heffernan for 1 raceday.

The Stewards enquired into the reason why Reckless Lad (Ire), ridden by K.J. Leonard, drawn in stall no 3 and Taylor Velvet (Ire), ridden by M.A. Gallagher, drawn in stall no 4, raced from incorrect stalls. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, D. Cullen I.H.R.B Starter, Matt Whyte Stall handler team leader and George Coogan stall handler. Having considered all the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that K.J. Leonard and M.A. Gallagher were in breach of Rule 208(iv) and cautioned both riders concerning their future responsibilities in this regard.

332C Fundraising Made Easy At Dundalk H'cap

P.A. Harnett, rider of Sharjah trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped very slowly from the stalls.

332D Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

M.A. Gallagher, rider of Lord Wimborne, trained by Edward P.Harty, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount raced very keen down the back.

332E Dundalk Business Club 2018 (Fillies) Mdn

K.J. Leonard, rider of Iseebreeze, trained by R. K. Watson, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left in the straight.

332F Floodlit Friday Nights Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards interviewed L.T. McAteer, rider of Polly Glide, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that L.T. McAteer was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned L.T. McAteer.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Polly Glide, trained by Lee Smyth, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

332G(i) Christmas Party Nights at Dundalk H'cap (Division One)

S. Foley, rider of Bonnie Baugh trained by Mrs Prunella Dobbs, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount his mount moved badly.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Building Year trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

332G(ii) Christmas Party Nights at Dundalk H'cap (Division Two)

G.P. Halpin, rider of Pedro De Styles (FR) trained by T.J. O'Mara, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got a bump when the stalls opened and came home well.

R. Coakley, rider of Figure It Out trained by Richard Brabazon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right.

The Stewards requested a report from Miss Clare Louise Cannon, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Tomwontlisten, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that her charge has only been in her care for a short period and had thought the animal would be suited by the trip of 1 mile and 2 furlongs on its previous run but disappointed and felt the drop back in trip today, had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the content of the report.
