352G1 Racing Returns 4th January 2019 H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from John C. McConnell, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Spanish Dawn, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that this filly's last run possibly came too quickly after its previous run. On that occasion the filly also ran too free and a return to 10 furlongs this evening probably suited. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
