The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

A. Oliver, trainer of Azezati (Declared in Error) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R. Coakley rode Gougane Barra (USA) (reserve) , trained by M.Halford (Race 2)

The Stewards fined Damian Joseph English, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared visor to Dance Alone (GB), prior to entering the parade ring.

O.J. Orr, rider of Ar Saoirse (GB) trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount became upset in stalls.

K.J. Leonard, rider of Abundant Courage trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran keen.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lunastar, trained by Paul W. Flynn, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Above Us Only Sky, ridden by C.T. Keane, Kendwar (FR), ridden by B.M. Coen, and Tiernaur General, ridden by C.P. Hoban, where it appeared Tiernaur General edged onto Above Us Only Sky who in turn edged onto Kendwar (FR). Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B.M. Coen gave his evidence in the presence of his master, Andrew Slattery, trainer. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found C.P. Hoban to be in breach of Rule 214 through careless riding and having taken his clean recent record in this regard into account the Stewards suspended the rider for one race day.

D.E. Sheehy, rider of Dolly Levi trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount became upset in stalls.

351C Crowne Plaza Apprentice Rated Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Amlad, trained by Andrew McNamara, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

Andrew McNamara, trainer of Amlad, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was found to have an exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage on endoscopic examination.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Far Reach (FR) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount finished lame.

351F Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk M'dn

R.P. Cleary, rider of Coolest King trained by Luke W. Comer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action and pulled up.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Black Noah (GB) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung in the straight.

D.P. Linehan, rider of Pointsevenk trained by W.J. Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action at the three furlong pole and pulled up.

351G Fund Raising Made Easy At Dundalk H'cap

K.J. Leonard, rider of Manomine (GB) trained by R. K. Watson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.
