222C Bar One Racing Mourne H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from G.M. Lyons, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Reckless Endeavour, placed first, as compared with its recent form. S. Lyons, Authorised Representative, reported that this horse's best form is on decent ground. He was allowed to take his chance in a valuable handicap at Galway but ran disappointingly on ground that wasn't ideal. Today's drop back in trip to six furlongs also seemed to suit. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the contents of the report.

222D Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Red God' H'cap

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Presidio, trained by Damian Joseph English, as the horse was not qualified to start under the provisions of Rule 87 (vii)(a) for the reason that the horse had been vaccinated on a date less than the seven days previous to today's race.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Act Of Valour (GB) trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount raced erratically.

222E Bar One Racing Special Apprentice H'cap

D.P. Linehan, rider of Baby Power trained by Garry Caldwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran green and hung from the stick.

The Stewards requested a report from Damian Joseph English, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Wild Shot (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that this horse didn't handle the ease in the going at Galway last time. He had also run well at Dundalk previously. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the contents of the report.

222G Bar One Racing Telebetting M'dn

The Stewards interviewed G.F. Carroll, rider of Bay Of Skaill (GB), concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence, the Stewards found the rider in breach of Rule 211 for failing to ride in a straight line from his draw position and having taken the circumstances into account the Stewards cautioned him.

222H Floodlit Friday Racing 22nd Sept H'cap

The Stewards fined John James Feane, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Blockstar Girl, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

S. Foley, rider of Pedisnap trained by M. Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran around under pressure.
