The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

G.P. Halpin rode Gold Not Silver (reserve) , trained by Adrian Brendan Joyce (Race 8)

C.D. Hayes, rider of Three Majors trained by P.D. Deegan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount received a bump on leaving the stalls.

The Stewards interviewed D.W. O'Connor, rider of Tribal Path, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards found D.W. O'Connor in breach of Rule 211 by failing to ride in a straight from his draw position until reaching the marker poles and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day.

285D Crowne Plaza Race & Stay Package H'cap

The Stewards enquired into two incidents in the straight involving Bishan Bedi, ridden by D. O'Brien, Golden Raven, ridden by S. Foley, Toccata Blue, ridden by C.T. Keane, and Morselle (GB), ridden by P.J. Smullen. Denis Coakley, trainer, attended this enquiry with D. O'Brien. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards deemed the interference accidental in nature and took no further action.

285E Dundalk Stadium On Facebook H'cap

The Stewards interviewed D. O'Brien, rider of Waver, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. A.J. Martin, trainer, accompanied the rider at this enquiry. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found D. O'Brien in breach of Reg 10 3.(b) & (c) and having taken his record into account suspended him for two race days.

285G1 CrownePlaza Leading Jockey&Trainer H'cap

F.M. Berry, rider of Coach Bombay trained by Adrian Brendan Joyce, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount weakened in the home straight.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Coach Bombay, trained by Adrian Brendan Joyce, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
