224A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction M'dn

John James Feane, trainer of Swish, placed first, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was found to be in season post race.

224B Crowne Plaza Race & Stay Rated Race

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Seychelloise (GB), trained by Sir Mark Prescott Bt (in GB), at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Seychelloise (GB), trained by Sir Mark Prescott Bt (in GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung to the right on the turn into the straight and furthermore was never travelling during the race.

The Stewards informed Edward Lynam, trainer that Lady Mega, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

224C Bar One Racing Mourne H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from Edward Lynam, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Moviesta (USA), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Edward Lynam reported that his charge appeared to have become disheartened and lost interest in his racing. He added that while he was a previous winner at Goodwood and at the Curragh, he felt that by being bred to race on the dirt, that he would campaign here today. He was of the opinion that the application of first time cheek pieces and racing on a round track was also of benefit to rekindling his enthusiasm. Furthermore he noted that he was racing today off a rating of 100 having being as high as 113. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

224E Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Red God' H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Aridity, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount checked before turning into the straight.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Zalfana trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her action and was eased from thereon.

224F Family Funday 4th Sept Apprentice H'cap

O.J. Orr, rider of Balmont Blast trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the starting stalls.

K.J. Leonard, rider of Manorov (GB) trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount received pressure from his outside at the early stages of this race.

D.P. Linehan, rider of Keukenhof trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was tight for room in running and then received interference about two furlongs out.

K.A. Quinn, rider of War Room, trained by S.M.Duffy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung to the left after turning into the straight.

224G Bar One Racing Telebetting M'dn

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Zulu Alpha (USA), trained by D.K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference on two separate occasions in the straight involving De Coronado (USA), ridden by D. O'Brien, placed first and Balcony, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed second, where it appeared that Balcony received interference . Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Evidence was also heard from T.J. Comerford, representing A.P. O'Brien Master of D. O'Brien. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges' placing and took no further action.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Zulu Alpha (USA) trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount missed the break, ran free, lost his action early in the straight and was eased thereafter.
