The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

K.J. Manning, rider of Doux Douce, trained by S.M.Duffy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount raced reluctantly.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Cilento, trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards fined Kevin Prendergast, trainer, €65 for failing to fit a tongue tie to Waarif, prior to entering the parade ring.

The Stewards informed Edward Lynam, trainer that Costa (USA), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

Tracey Collins, trainer of So Magical, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her filly was intimidated in stalls as a result of a colt in an adjoining stall getting upset, rearing up and kicking out repeatedly before he was withdrawn.

S.B. Kelly, rider of Our Man Phil trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung throughout.

The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Victorious Secret, ridden by K.J. Leonard, placed first, Rathbride Raven (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, Arcara, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, unplaced and Pillar (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed sixth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned in the presence of John James Feane, trainer, who accompanied K.J. Leonard in the Stewards room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that K.J. Leonard was in breach of Rule 214, in that he rode carelessly and having considered his record, suspended him for two race days. Furthermore the rider was found to be in breach of Rule 211, in that he failed to keep a straight line before the marker poles and having considered his record, fined him €150.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Rathbride Raven (GB) trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered after the start.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Arcara, trained by P.D. Deegan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was badly hampered after the start.

C.T. Keane, rider of Pillar (GB) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered after the start.

C.R. King, rider of Hasselnott (GB), trained by Augustine Leahy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung in the straight.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Dikta Del Mar (SPA) trained by T.Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount missed the break.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Triplicate, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed third and Zamira, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, in the presence of Adrian O'Shea, trainer, who accompanied D.O'Brien in the Stewards room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

B.P. Galvin, trainer of Purple Velvet, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Thursday 1st September that his charge has had a wind operation since its last run.
