The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Thomas Mullins, trainer of Nam (Passport lodged late) - €350 - (see report)

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P.L. Malone, that D. O'Brien, rider of Irish Minister (USA), had weighed in at 1.2lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was tight with his weight when weighing out and he had taken a small quantity of fluids before riding. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that D. O'Brien was in breach of Rule 231. Having taken his previous record into consideration the Stewards cautioned D. O'Brien .

S. Foley, rider of Bye Bye Brussels trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount changed legs in the final furlong of this race.

007D Sun BETS Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Glastonbury Song, trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

M.Halford, trainer of Russian Soul, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge found nothing off the bridle

B.M. Coen, rider of Fastidious (GB) trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly to the right.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined See You Mush (GB), trained by Garvan Donnelly, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

The Stewards fined Thomas Mullins, trainer, €350 for failing to lodge a passport in respect of Nam, in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i). The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Nam.

S. Corby, rider of At Your Service (GB), trained by S. Donohoe, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount met with some interference in the back straight.

007G E McGahon, McGuinness & Co. H'cap

R.P. Cleary, rider of Itschessnotchekers trained by Noel Lawlor, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung in the straight.
