024A Fyffes M'dn

R.P. Cleary, rider of Shinko Princess trained by C.P.Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount checked turning in.

N.G. McCullagh, rider of My Butterfly trained by Sabrina J. Harty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very green at the first bend.

M.C. Hussey, rider of Born On The Clyde, trained by John Patrick Shanahan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was unable to hold its position on the run to the first bend.

024B ASM Chartered Accountants Race

The Stewards informed the representative of W.P. Mullins, trainer that Pique Sous (FR), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

024D Ever Kleen Contract Cleaners H'cap

C.P. Hoban, rider of Shannon Soul trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got tight for room shortly after leaving stalls.

The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving stalls involving Shannon Soul, ridden by C.P. Hoban, Coreczka, ridden by S.P. Davis, and Our Manekineko (GB), ridden by G.P. Brouder, where it appeared Shannon Soul ran short of room and was forced to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found G.P. Brouder in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his record into account suspended him for two race days.

024E Horse First Supplements Race

The Stewards received a report from the Turf Club Veterinary Officer prior to this race that Roman Wells, trained by M. Halford was a gelding rather than a colt. The Stewards therefore imposed a fine of €130 for a breach of Rule 148 (vi).

024F Bulmers Apprentice H'cap

K.J. Leonard, rider of Reddot Express (GB), trained by F.Birrane, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he was forced to suddenly step off his mount as the gates opened as his mount attempted to go down in the stalls. The Stewards ordered the horse to be recertified before being allowed to run from stalls again.

024G1 McGeough's Bar & Restaurant, Dundalk Hcp

The Stewards held an enquiry following a report from Ms. Michelle Howard, Turf Club Security, that in the course of her duties she observed a syringe in the tack bag of U S Navy Seal (USA), trained by J.R. Finn, following the running of this race. Evidence was heard from Ms. Michelle Howard, Turf Club Security, Ms Joan Taylor, Turf Club Veterinary Officer and J.R. Finn, trainer. Ms Taylor, stated that this was an oral dosage syringe which is not permitted in the stable yard. The trainer acknowledged that he was in breach of Regulation 9 regarding the bringing of certain syringes into the stableyard and stated that it was used solely to wash out his horses' mouths. Having considered the evidence the Stewards found the trainer in breach of Regulation 9 and in the circumstances and using their powers under Rule 14 (ii) referred the matter to the CEO of The Turf Club for further investigation.

Anthony McCann, trainer of Im Waiting, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge scoped wrong post race.

024G2 McGeough's Bar & Restaurant, Dundalk Hcp

R. Coakley, rider of Carvelas trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action in the straight.
