The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Adrian McGuinness, trainer of Guanabara Bay (Declared in Error) - €200
Gordon Elliott, trainer of Miro (Going) - €200

250A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the final 100 yards involving Rita Levi, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second and Sundance Star, ridden by S. Foley, placed third, where it appeared bumping took place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

250C Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction M'dn

Following a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer that Mackqeez trained by Adrian Paul Keatley was a gelding and not a colt, the Stewards imposed a fine of €130 on the trainer for a breach of Rule 148 (vi).

K.J. Leonard, rider of The Lady's Bid trained by P.M.Rogers, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and didn't let herself down on the ground.

250D JC Halliday & Sons Nursery H'cap

S.P. Davis, rider of Dandy Belle trained by Richard John O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount rolled around when getting to the front.

The Stewards wished to enquire into the apparent improvement in form of Colfer Me, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, placed first, compared with its most recent run, following a report from the IHRB Handicapper, Mr. G. O'Gorman that today's run represented approximately 42lb improvement in form. As no Authorised Representative was present at the meeting as required under Rule 147(v), the Stewards referred the matter to the Referrals Committee.

250E Weatherbys General Stud Book H'cap

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Piper Bomb, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, placed fourth, Zippy (GB), ridden by O.J. Orr, unplaced, Bouquet Garni, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third, Deauville Society, ridden by D.E. Sheehy, unplaced and Rock In Society, ridden by S.P. Davis, unplaced, where it appeared Deauville Society and Piper Bomb got tight for room and were squeezed. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

250F West Coast Cooler H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn into the straight involving British Art (GB), ridden by K.J. Manning, Maid In Manhattan, ridden by O.J. Orr, and Dark Amber (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, where it appeared Maid In Manhattan ran short of room on the inner and came down, bringing down Dark Amber (GB). Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards apportioned no blame to any individual rider and took no further action.
