098A Pepsi Max Opportunity M'dn H'dle

R.P. Treacy, rider of Brokopondo trained by Miss Clare Louise Cannon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise at the third last and jumped poorly throughout.

D.J. McInerney, rider of Lopito (GB) trained by C.A.McBratney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a gurgling noise in running.

At the request of the Stewards, C.P. McNamara, rider of Lucky Road, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a noise after the second last.

At the request of the Stewards, A. McCurtin, rider of Swiss Cottage (GB), trained by Karl Thornton, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very keen early on but didn't find much and when the race quickened he had nothing to give.

C.A. Landers, rider of Survival Mode trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung to the right and found the ground too quick.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference approaching the finishing line involving Calicojack, ridden by E. Walsh, placed first and Indian Admiral (GB), ridden by L.A. McKenna, placed second, where it appeared that both horses were in contact with each other approaching the line. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

The Stewards interviewed C. Brassil, rider of Keenaghan Lass, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that C. Brassil was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (h), in that he used his whip with his arm above shoulder height. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards cautioned C. Brassil on this occasion.

098B London Essence Company H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident entering the final turn involving James Boru, ridden by Mr N. McParlan, Cadougarde (FR), ridden by R.A. Doyle and Mr Jacaranda, ridden by E. O'Connell, where it appeared that Cadougarde ran short of room and collided with the rails. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. N. McParlan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden improperly, and having considered his record in this regard suspended him for 3 racedays.

J.M. Moore, rider of Sillogue Pio trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Sillogue Pio trained by Gavin Cromwell was found to have blood on the nostrils post race as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

C.A. Landers, rider of Canford Lady trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount struck into itself.

R.A. Doyle, rider of Cadougarde (FR) trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped very quickly and pulled up.

098C Belfast Live H'dle

Mr P.C. Bannon, rider of Sizing Rome, trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount failed to quicken.

The Stewards interviewed Katie O'Farrell, rider of Ravenhill, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Katie O'Farrell was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g), in that she used her whip with excessive frequency, and having considered her record in this regard cautioned her on this occasion.

The Stewards interviewed P.E. Corbett, rider of Presentingprincess, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that P.E. Corbett was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g), in that he used his whip with excessive frequency. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards cautioned P.E. Corbett on this occasion.

098D Daily Mirror Beginners S'chase

The Stewards interviewed A. Ring, rider of Farclas (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that A. Ring was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (i), in that he used his whip without giving his mount time to respond. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended A. Ring for 1 raceday.

098F Club Mixers Hunters S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Complete Sizing (FR), trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be slightly lame behind post race.

Mr J.J. Codd, rider of Complete Sizing (FR), trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount failed to quicken on today's ground.

098G Racing TV (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the home turn involving Ball Breaker, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, Centaur, ridden by Mr T. Hamilton, Clody Valley, ridden by Mr F. Maguire and The Miser, ridden by Mr N. Gault, where it appeared that The Miser ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental in nature and they therefore took no further action.
