The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Tudor City, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

Gordon Elliott, trainer of Persiflage (GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge burst a blood vessel.

The Stewards interviewed Mr K.S. Dalton, rider of Royal County Boy, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr K.S. Dalton was in breach of R10(3)(b) by the continued use of the whip after his chance of winning or being placed was clearly gone and consequently severely cautioned him having taken his previous record into consideration.

Hogan, unplaced and Miss North Light, ridden by B.J. Cooper, unplaced, where it appeared that Emmy Lou was crossed and received a check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by D.J.
