123A Proparamedics M'dn H'dle

A.E. Lynch, rider of State Of Nirvana trained by T.J. Taaffe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.

A.W. Short, rider of Swedish Connection trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Falak, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Swedish Connection trained by Matthew J. Smith was found to have blood at the nose following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

123B Eventsec H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ejayteekay (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

123D Mount Charles H'cap H'dle

I.J. McCarthy, rider of Tourboy, trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped quickly and has respiratory issues.

The Stewards interviewed D.F. O'Regan, rider of Lasoscar, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found D.F.O'Regan to be in Breach of Regulation 10.3(g) in that he used his whip with his arm above shoulder height. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards cautioned him with regard to his future responsibilities.

123E French Village Catering Rated Nov. S'ch

D. Meyler, rider of Round Tower trained by Karl Thornton, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left.

The Stewards interviewed J.W. Kennedy, rider of Ballela Boy, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found J.W. Kennedy to be in breach of Regulation 10.3(c), the unnecessary hitting of a horse that has obtained its maximum placing. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended J.W. Kennedy for 2 racedays.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Lean And Keen, ridden by A.E. Lynch, placed fourth and Round Tower, ridden by D. Meyler, placed third, where it appeared interference occured. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings and took no further action.

123G 4 Corners Sign INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr R. Deegan, rider of Classic Concorde, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found Mr. R. Deegan in breach of Regulation 10.3(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency and Regulation 10.3(g) in that he used the whip with his arm above shoulder height. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended Mr. R. Deegan for 2 racedays.
