The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

K.M. Donoghue replaced J.W. Kennedy on Western Honour, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 3)(Injured)
K.M. Donoghue replaced J.W. Kennedy on Mill Quest, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 4)(Injured)
S.W. Flanagan replaced J.W. Kennedy on Don Poli, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 5)(Injured).

047A Racing TV M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined S.R.B. Crawford, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Lily's Gem, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Lily's Gem in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

I.J. McCarthy, rider of Banrion Na Speire trained by William J. McLernon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never handled the ground and pulled up.

At the request of the Stewards, L.A. McKenna, rider of Paul Patterson, trained by J.J.Lambe, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his saddle slipped on the way to the first and he pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cosmo's Moon, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

047B Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Stewards fined C.A.McBratney, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Imperial Reprise, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Imperial Reprise in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rathbride Prince, trained by Padraig Roche, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be distressed post race.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. W. Fleming , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that D.E. Browne , rider of Bracka Lily , weighed in at 1.4 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that through his own fault he had weighed in with extra equipment that he had not weighed out with. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that D.E. Browne was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore cautioned him having considered his previous record in this regard.

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. W. Fleming, regarding the failure of M.J. Stenson, rider of Isharah (USA), placed 6th, to weigh in after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was unaware of his finishing position and by his own admission he did not confirm with the clerk of scales if he was required to weigh in. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that M.J. Stenson was in breach of Rule 227 (i) in that he failed to present himself to be weighed in by the Clerk of Scales. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards severely cautioned M.J. Stenson and disqualified Isharah under Rule 230 (ii).

P.W. O'Reilly, rider of Milan Diva trained by Sarah Dawson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't handle the ground.

H. Morgan, rider of Bard Of Armagh (GB) trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't handle the ground.

047D North Down Marquees Rated Novice S'chase

P. Townend, rider of Great Khan trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise down the back straight and struggled thereafter.

At the request of the Stewards, J.M. Moore, rider of Global Racing, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he was unable to account for his mount's poor run and that he was disappointed with the performance.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Global Racing, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

047F Remus Uomo Hunters S'chase

The Stewards interviewed Mr N. Gault, rider of Lisnagreggan, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. N. Gault was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (c) in that he used his whip unnecessarily after achieving his maximum placing, and 10.3 (f) in that he used his whip with excessive force. Having considered his previous record in this regard, the Stewards suspended Mr N. Gault for 3 racedays.

047G Remus Uomo (Mares) INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Two Shoe Tom, trained by Peter Fahey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
