The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.W. Kennedy replaced D.N. Russell on Duke's Girl (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 3)(unwell).
J.W. Kennedy replaced D.N. Russell on Isle Of Destiny, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 4)(unwell).
J.W. Kennedy replaced D.N. Russell on Creadan Grae, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 5)(unwell).
S.W. Flanagan replaced B.J. Cooper on Mindsmadeup, trained by Matthew J. Smith (Race 5)(unwell)

151B Visit Newry Mourne & Down H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Triolet trained by C.A.McBratney was found to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage post race.

A.W. Short, rider of Triolet trained by C.A.McBratney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel in running.

151C Molson Coors H'cap H'dle

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Duke's Girl (GB) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third last hurdle.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. W. Fleming , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that S. Fox , rider of Pump Road , weighed in at 1.2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had received a lot of kick back during this race having been towards the rear of the field throughout. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that S. Fox was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore cautioned him on this occasion.

The Stewards interviewed C.P. McNamara, rider of Global Racing, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that C.P. McNamara was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g), in that he used his whip with excessive frequency. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended C.P. McNamara for 4 racedays and reminded him of his future responsibilities.

151D Speckled Hen Bar & Restaurant Beg. S'ch

R.P. Treacy, rider of Milan Diva trained by Sarah Dawson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped in running.

151F Eire Og GAC 50th Anniversary H'cap S'ch

The Stewards received a report from Mr. W. Fleming , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr N. McParlan , rider of Mr Bolt , having declared an overweight of 2 lbs was attempting to weigh out at 3 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. N. McParlan was in breach of Rule195 (i). The Stewards fined Mr. N. MC Parlan €150 and allowed Mr. Bolt to run in accordance with Rule 198 (vii).

151G Down Time Fest. (L)(P-Am) INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Ms L. O'Neill, rider of Santana Plessis (FR), concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Ms L. O'Neill was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (e), in that she used her whip on an area other than down the shoulder or the hind quarters. Having considered her record in this regard, the Stewards suspended Ms L. O'Neill for 2 racedays and reminded her of her future responsibilities.

Ms K. Ferris, rider of Orena Bay trained by W J Bryson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount lost co-ordination in the closing stages and pulled up.
