265A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards interviewed Adrian O'Shea, rider of Diamond Avalanche, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Rule 211(a) in that he had failed to keep his mount straight until reaching the marker poles. Having considered his previous good record in this regard, the Stewards cautioned him.

265B Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards enquired into possible interference close to the line involving Agent Of Chaos (GB), ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed second, Cook Islands, ridden by J.P. O'Brien, placed fourth and Hit It A Bomb (USA), ridden by R.L. Moore, placed first, where it appeared Agent Of Chaos (GB) ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

R.P. Cleary, rider of S P B Lucky, trained by Tracey Collins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount met with interference in running.

Gary Paul Halpin, rider of Pick Of Any trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action in the final furlong.

265C C.L. & M.F. Weld Park Stakes

R.P. Cleary, rider of Mrs King trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered when leaving the stalls.

265D Juddmonte Beresford Stakes

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Port Douglas, ridden by E.J. McNamara, placed first and True Solitaire, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed second, where it appeared interference had taken place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

265E Manguard Plus Amateur Derby (QR) H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Paddy The Celeb, ridden by Mr E. Halford, unplaced, Unrequited, ridden by Miss S. Lynam, unplaced , Eric The Grey, ridden by Mr J.F. O'Meara, placed third and Jack Blue, ridden by Miss K. Harrington, unplaced, where it appeared Unrequited ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards cautioned Mr. J. F. O'Meara to ride with more care in the future.

265F Joe McGrath H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from W. McCreery, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Tylery Wonder, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that a combination of today's draw and a more positive ride may have brought about todays improved performance. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the content of the report.

265G Loughbrown Stakes

J.P. O'Brien, rider of Altruistic trained by T.Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left handed.

W.J. Lee, rider of Alton Bay trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right when under pressure.
