A.J. Slattery, rider of Comhghairdeas trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

125C Cold Move Irish EBF Marble Hill Stakes

L.F. Roche, rider of Recon Mission trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount raced too keen.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Scotts Honor trained by P.J.Prendergast, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount moved badly throughout this race.

125D Weatherbys Ireland Greenlands Stakes

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Intelligence Cross (USA) trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left during this race.

125E Tattersalls Irish 2,000 Guineas

The Stewards enquired into possible interference about one and a half furlongs from the finish involving Gustav Klimt, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed third, Symbolization, ridden by W. Buick, placed fifth, Threeandfourpence (USA), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed fourth and U S Navy Flag (USA), ridden by R.L. Moore, placed second, where it appeared that Symbolization met with interference and was tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference that took place was accidental in nature and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Elarqam (GB), trained by Mark Johnston (in GB), at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.A.Stack, trainer of Zihba, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board on 28th May that his charge suffered a bout of colic post race.

125F Lanwades Stud Stakes

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the latter stages of this race involving Goldrush, ridden by K.J. Manning, placed fourth, Opal Tiara, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed first and Xenobia, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fifth, where it appeared that Xenobia got tight for room when Opal Tiara made a manoeuvre when delivering her challenge. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that R.P. Whelan had ridden carelessly by causing interference to Xenobia when manoeuvering outwards to challenge. Having taken R.P. Whelan's record into consideration, the Stewards suspended him for 1 raceday.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Xenobia trained by W.T. Farrell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his filly was checked about two and a half furlongs from the finish when unable to hold her position when challengers appeared on both sides of her.

125H Curragh "Where Champions Are Made" H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Rock Sound trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was struck into behind during this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Rock Sound trained by D. K. Weld was found to have been struck into on the right hind.

S. Foley, rider of Lethal Power trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount received interference about one furlong from the finish.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Natty Dresser trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got no luck in running and checked.

The Stewards enquired into an incident inside the two furlong marker involving Medal Of Honour (GB), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed first, Lethal Power, ridden by S. Foley, placed fourth, Rock Sound, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, unplaced and Raphael (GER), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fifth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental in nature and took no further action.
