The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.J. McGovern replaced A. Kirby on Al Qahwa, trained by David O'Meara (in GB) (Race 1)(Unwell)
R.P. Whelan replaced W. Buick on Marie Of Lyon (GB), trained by Richard Fahey (in GB) (Race 1)(Stewards permission)
C. O'Donoghue replaced A. Kirby on Getchagetchagetcha (GB), trained by Clive Cox (in GB) (Race 7)(Unwell)

262A Ir.Stal.Farms EBF 'Bold Lad' Sprint Hcap

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms. Avena O'Keeffe, that S.P. Davis, rider of Tresorier (GB), had weighed in at 1.6lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was riding at his minimum weight and had rehydrated after weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that S.P. Davis was in breach of Rule 231 by failing to draw the correct weight. Having taken his good previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended S.P. Davis for 1 raceday.

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Julia's Magic, trained by Mrs Denise Foster, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Hello Brigette, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

262C Derrinstown Stud Flying Five Stakes

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Havana Grey (GB), trained by K.R.Burke (in GB), to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

L.F. Roche, rider of Hit The Bid (GB) trained by D.J. Bunyan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount found the ground to be too soft for him.

Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer of Now You're Talking, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was showing signs of coming into season post race.

262D Moyglare Stud Stakes

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Smart Flies, trained by J. S. Bolger, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

L.F. Roche, rider of Angelic Light trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and did not feel right during this race.

The Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Skitter Scatter (USA), ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed first and Zagitova, ridden by R.L. Moore , placed fourth, where it appeared that Zagitova ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference caused was accidental in nature and took no further action. Mr. P.N. Reynolds and Mr. N.B. Wachman, Acting Stewards, absented themselves from this enquiry.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Just Wonderful (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

262E Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes

The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final furlong involving Anthony Van Dyck, ridden by R.L. Moore, placed second and Quorto, ridden by W. Buick, placed first, where it appeared that Quorto drifted right when Anthony Van Dyck was challenging on his right. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings. Furthermore they were of the opinion that any interference caused was accidental in nature and took no further action. Mr. P.N. Reynolds, Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry.

262G Tattersalls Ire. Super Auction Sale Stks

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed World Order, trained by Declan Carroll (in GB), to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iv), the Stewards allowed Vhagar, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

The Stewards informed Sarah Dawson, trainer that Slainte, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Stewards informed G.M.Lyons, trainer that Gold Memory, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Stewards interviewed J.F. Egan, rider of Barbill, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that J.F. Egan was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his good record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned J.F. Egan.

262H Ir. Stal. Farms EBF 'Northfields' H'cap

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Harlow (GB), trained by A.J.Martin, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed Danceteria (FR), trained by David Menuisier (in GB), to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.
