108B Plusvital Speed Gene H'cap

G.P. Halpin, rider of Hello Brigette trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

108C Sole Power Sprint Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kyllang Rock, trained by James Tate (in GB), at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame behind post race.

108D Plusvital Powered By Equinome H'cap

The Stewards interviewed D.P. McDonogh, rider of Pillar (GB), concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards were satisfied that D.P. McDonogh was in breach of Rule 211. Having taken his good recent record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned D.P. McDonogh.

The Stewards interviewed K.J. Leonard, rider of Doonard Prince, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards were satisfied that K.J. Leonard was in breach of Rule 211. Having taken his good recent record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned K.J. Leonard.

The Stewards interviewed J.A. Heffernan, rider of Rapid Reaction, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race, considered the evidence and noted the veterinary report the Stewards were of the opinion that J.A. Heffernan was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with his arm above shoulder height and R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive force. Having taken his recent record into consideration, the Stewards suspended J.A. Heffernan for 3 racedays.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Pillar (GB) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount anticipated the start twice and banged his head off the gates before jumping out of stalls.

M.A. Gallagher, rider of Chosen Rock, trained by Francis Casey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped out well but after a short distance the filly appeared to lose her action and became detached from the other runners.

108F Plusvital EnerGene-Q10 H'cap

W.J. Lee, rider of Toulson (GB) trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not get a clear run in the straight.
