The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J. S. McGarvey rode Una's Pleasure (reserve) , trained by John J. Walsh (Race 1)
Mr. F. Maguire rode Coolagh Moll (reserve) , trained by John Queally (Race 7).

101A McCarthy Insurance Group M'dn H'dle

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Ainslie, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very green, jumped very careful and lost ground because of this.

C.M. Collins, rider of Munstead Pride (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a mistake at the fourth and lost ground as a consequence. He felt his mount may appreciate a longer trip after staying on well in the closing stages.

B. Hayes, rider of Jimmy's Choice, trained by Michael Winters, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very free in the early stages and tired in closing stages.

101C Irish Breeders EBF (Mares) M'dn H'dle

D.N. Russell, rider of Island Remede (GB) trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped big early on and was unsure of the ground.

M.J. Ferris, rider of Granny Biddy, trained by Michael Winters, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped deliberate in the early stages and got stuck behind a wall of horses in the back straight, before staying on past tired horses in the closing stages.

101D McCarthy Insurance Group H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed K.C. Sexton, rider of Il Fenomeno (ITY), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g), in that he had used his whip with the arm above shoulder height. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned him.

D.E. Splaine, rider of Knockrea trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and was pulled up there after.

D.J. Mullins, rider of Gusty Rocky trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up thereafter.

101E McCarthy Insurance Group M'dn H'dle

P.D. Kennedy, rider of Westfield King trained by Ms. Debbie Hartnett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly and was pulled up thereafter.

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P.W. Murtagh, regarding the failure of D.E. Splaine, rider of Iconic Image, placed sixth, to weigh in after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that D. E. Splaine was in breach of Rule 227 and cautioned him. Furthermore, the Stewards disqualified Iconic Image from sixth place under the provisions of Rule 230.

Ms. Debbie Hartnett, trainer of Westfield King, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge scoped badly post race.

101F McCarthy Insurance Group H'cap H'dle

D.N. Russell, rider of Dr Waluigi trained by Eoin Doyle, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount travelled well but emptied quickly.

D.E. Splaine, rider of Cloudy Morning trained by M.T. O'Donovan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake, lost it's action and was pulled up thereafter.

101G ITBA NH Fillies EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Stewards enquired into an incident involving Dixie Rose, ridden by Mr R. Deegan, unplaced, Monastery, ridden by Mr E. Dwan, unplaced and Coolagh Moll, ridden by Mr F. Maguire, who was unseated rounding the first bend having struck the running railing. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the video evidence was inconclusive and noted the explanations offered.
