The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

K.J. Manning replaced R.P. Whelan on Volatile Lady, trained by Brendan W.Duke (Race 4)(Intended mount was a non runner)

B.M. Coen, rider of Comhghairdeas trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Dandyman Port trained by D. Donovan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung in the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Dandyman Port trained by D. Donovan was noted post race to have pulled a left hind shoe.

D.E. Sheehy, rider of A Likely Story trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount reared up as the gates opened.

097C Fermoy H'cap

D.M. Redmond, rider of Happy Company trained by P.J.Hassett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.

The Stewards interviewed C.T. Keane, rider of Challow, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that C.T. Keane was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his recent record into consideration, the Stewards suspended C.T. Keane for 2 racedays.

The Stewards interviewed S.M. Crosse, rider of Song Of The Sky (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned in the presence of Gerard Flynn who accompanied him at this enquiry. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that S.M. Crosse was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his clean previous record into consideration, the Stewards severely cautioned S.M. Crosse.

097E Mallow M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Game Of Dreams trained by Patrick Breen was noted post race to have pulled a left hind shoe.

S. Foley, rider of Makamamia (GB) trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount disliked the ground.

A.C. Persse, rider of Los Alamos trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference in the straight, stayed on but was tiring in the final furlong and may not have handled the ground.

097F Cork Apprentice H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tribal Path, trained by W. McCreery, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

The Stewards interviewed G.P. Halpin, rider of Alcatraz, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that G.P. Halpin was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended G.P. Halpin for 2 racedays.

The Stewards interviewed R. Coakley, rider of Ecoeye (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that R.P. Coakley was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his very good previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned R.P. Coakley.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Tribal Path trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount failed to quicken when asked.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that The Mcgregornator trained by Adrian Paul Keatley was noted post race to have pulled a right fore shoe.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that High Altitude trained by John Joseph Murphy was noted post race to have pulled a left hind shoe.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Youceeyouceecee trained by Miss Susan A Finn was noted post race to have pulled a right hind shoe.

097G Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident soon after leaving the starting stalls involving Lucan Rock, ridden by Karen Kenny, unplaced and Robert E Lee, ridden by D.A. McCormack, unplaced, where it appeared that Lucan Rock stumbled when Robert E Lee was making his way across to the running rail from an outside draw. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that D.A. McCormack was in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly causing Lucan Rock to stumble. Having taken his good previous record into consideration and the fact that Robert E Lee appeared to be a difficult ride, the Stewards cautioned D.A. McCormack.

Karen Kenny, rider of Lucan Rock trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount clipped heels soon after the start.

097H Newmarket (Fillies) M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Comeragh Haze (GB) trained by John M. Oxx was noted post race to have pulled a right hind shoe.
