The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B. Hayes replaced D.N. Russell on Meadowlands, trained by Peter Fahey (Race 1)(Injury)
M.P. Walsh replaced D.N. Russell on Lean And Keen, trained by Sean Byrne (Race 2)(Injury)
J.W. Kennedy replaced K.M. Smith on Phil The Flyer, trained by Ray Hackett (Race 6)(Injury)

237A Family Day Out M'dn H'dle

The Stewards received a report from Ms. Nicola O'Connor, Turf Club Veterinary Officer, that she was unable to positively identify Previctorious, trained by John E. Kiely, from the markings contained in the passport presented for this horse. Evidence was heard from the trainer and the Turf Club Veterinary Officer. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Previctorious and referred the matter to the Turf Club CEO for further investigation.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of End Of Line (GB) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise in-running.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Lord Kenmare (USA) trained by Ms. Debbie Hartnett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise before they turned in.

237C Martinstown Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed R.A. Doyle, rider of Golden Ticket (AUS), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found R.A. Doyle in breach of Reg. 10 3.(g) by using his whip with the arm above shoulder height and having taken his record into account the Stewards cautioned him.

237E corkracecourse.ie (Mares) M'dn H'dle

Mr A. McCurtin, rider of Barnahash trained by Jonathan Sweeney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action.

237F Buy Online @ corkracecourse.ie Hcap Hdle

A.E. Lynch, rider of Steel Wave trained by Garrett James Power, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and his saddle slipped.

P. Townend, rider of Late Night Deed (GB), trained by Garrett James Power, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount missed the fifth last and cut out quickly.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Late Night Deed (GB), trained by Garrett James Power, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be making an abonormal respiratory noise, blowing hard and coughing post race.

237G Follow Cork On Twitter INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr N. McParlan, rider of Ah Littleluck, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg 10. 3 (f) by using his whip with excessive frequency and having taken his record into account suspended him for two race days.
