L.P. Gilligan, rider of Brave Oscar trained by Donal Hassett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up thereafter.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Free Code trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan was found to have pulled the left fore shoe.

062B Follow Cork On Twitter H'cap H'dle

The Stewards fined Mrs D.A.Love, trainer, €350 for failing to lodge the passport in respect of Double Speak, in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Double Speak.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Jimmyjames (GB) trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that D'bru Na Boinne (FR) trained by John J. Walsh was found to have pulled 3 shoes.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Jimmyjames (GB) trained by P.J. Rothwell was found to have pulled the right fore shoe.

062D Glenview&Rathbarry Studs(M)Hunters S'ch

The Stewards received a report from Mr. P.L. Malone, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr D.P. Murphy, rider of Tj Goodtymes, had weighed out at 3 lbs overweight having declared a possible 2 lbs overweight at declaration time. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned, who requested Stewards permission to carry the overweight on this occasion as the rider was also the owner of his intended mount. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the overweight under the provisions of Rule 198 but found the rider to be in breach of Rule 195. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards referred the rider to the licencing committee.

The Stewards interviewed Mr R.P. Quinlan, rider of Cloudy Day, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.4 in that he had failed to give his mount sufficient time to respond. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended Mr. R.P. Quinlan for 1 raceday.

The Stewards interviewed Mr J.J. King, rider of He Knows My Name, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3.(g) in that he had used his whip with the arm above shoulder height. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned Mr. J.J. King.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Back To Basics trained by Paul Cashman was found to have pulled the left fore shoe.

062E Coolmore N.H. Sires M'dn Hunters S'chase

The Stewards granted permission for flag starts for this race and the remainder of the card owing to a faulty mechanism.

062F Jack Tyner Memorial Hunters S'chase

W.J. Burke, trainer of My Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge found to have burst blood vessels.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that My Murphy trained by W.J. Burke was found to have blood at the nose following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

062G Cork & Waterford(Mares)P-To-P Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr D.G. Lavery, rider of Portnablagh, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) in that he had used his whip with the arm above shoulder height and cautioned him in this regard for the future. Furthermore the Stewards found that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended Mr. D.G. Lavery for 7 racedays. Mr. M. O'Driscoll, Acting Steward, was not present for this enquiry.

The Stewards interviewed Mr J.J. King, rider of Miss Delighted, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3.(f)in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended Mr. J.J. King for 7 racedays. Mr. M. O'Driscoll, Aacting Steward, did not attend this enquiry.

The Stewards interviewed Miss S. Ahern, rider of Baile Boru, concerning her use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3.(f)in that she had used her whip with excessive frequency and Regulation 10.3(c) in that she had continued to use her whip after she had obtained her maximum placing. Having taken her previous record in this regard in to account, the Stewards suspended Ms. S. Ahern for 2 racedays. Mr. M. O'Driscoll, Acting Steward, did not attend this enquiry.

062H Pegus Horse Feed P-To-P Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Judkin trained by James Joseph Mangan was found to have pulled the left fore shoe.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Speedy Buck, trained by Paul Cashman, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
