The Stewards interviewed Mr J.C. Barry, rider of Time And Times, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr J.C. Barry was in breach of R10(4) by failing to give his mount time to respond to the whip and having taken into consideration his record, cautioned him.

The Stewards received a report from P.L. Malone , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr William Easterby , rider of Aimin For Anna , placed sixth, weighed in at 15 lbs light. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had his tack checked at the start but the lead cloth had fallen off during the course of the race. A review of the video of the race clarified that the lead cloth had fallen off in the back straight on the final circuit. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified Aimin For Anna and took no further action.
