The following trainer was fined €200 for the non-notification of a Veterinary Certificate in accordance with the provision of Rule 194(v) (vi):

052A CITSU (Fillies) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Bright Lass trained by John J. Walsh was found to have lost her left fore shoe.

M. Keane, trainer of Onemoreask, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board on 23rd March that his charge was found to be in season after this race. .

052C CIT Raise And Give H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed K.J. Brouder, rider of Pound A Stroke, winner, in relation to an incident which occured in the parade ring after he dismounted where it appeared an item was passed to him. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed the parade ring footage post race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered and reminded K.J. Brouder of his obligations under Rule 230(ii).

052D UCC Goes Racing M'dn H'dle

F.J. Hayes, rider of Shadows Return, trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was keen starting off, very green throughout and jumped poorly.

052E CIT Cream Of The Crop (Q.R.) H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Auction Reminder trained by Donncha Duggan was found to have lost his right fore shoe.

Mr R. Deegan, rider of Epsilon Indi trained by R.P. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount reached at the fourth last and as a result came to a stop.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Time And Times trained by D.McNamara was found to have blood at the nose following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage. Samples were also taken for analysis.

Mr R.W. Barron, rider of Bee A Beneficiary, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he waited with his mount and had no more to give in the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Epsilon Indi trained by R.P. McNamara was found to have lost his left fore shoe.

052F UCC Don't Step On The Crest H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed A. McCurtin, rider of Shower Cross, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found A. McCurtin in breach of Regulation 10.4 in that he used his whip without giving his mount time to respond. Having considered his previous record in this regard the Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays.

The Stewards interviewed D.E. Mullins, rider of Shannak, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found D.E.Mullins in breach of Regulation 10.4 in that he used his whip without giving his mount time to respond. Having considered his previous good record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him.
