The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

W.M. Lordan replaced C. O'Donoghue on Abracadarbra, trained by M.F.Morris (Race 8)(unwell).

146A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

S. Foley, rider of Sandbanks Road trained by Madeleine Tylicki, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount found today's going too fast.

146B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

D.O'Brien, rider of Art Nouvelle trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount moved badly on the ground.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Art Nouvelle, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have shown signs of being in season.

The Stewards requested a report from C.P. Hoban, rider, who rode the horse on his six previous runs, as to the apparent improvement in form of Oneoveryou, placed first, as compared with its recent form. C.P. Hoban reported that he had no significant reason for his mount's poor form in her previous run and that she had returned to good form. Having considered the report the Stewards noted its contents.

146D Munster Oaks Stakes

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the latter stages where it appeared Flying Fairies was forced to check momentarily. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference was accidental in nature and took no further action, other than to advise W.J. Lee to ride more carefully in future.

The Stewards informed Patrick J.Flynn, trainer that Sleepy Head, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

146G Mallow Town Summer Race Evening July Mdn

The Stewards received a report from stable yard security, regarding the late arrival of Ilikehim, trained by William Durkan, to the racecourse. The Stewards interviewed Michael Fitzsimons, authorised representative of William Durkan, who stated that having left home at 11:45 am with the intention of arriving at 3pm, there was a traffic accident on the M7 which delayed him considerably. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the horse to run and took no further action other than to remind Michael Fitzsimons of his obligations to arrive at the racecourse in sufficient time in future.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Spanish Steps, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed second and Harrana, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed first, where it appeared Spanish Steps was forced to switch. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

Anastasia O'Brien, rider of Ruby Quest trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount hung throughout.
