The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

J. S. Bolger, trainer of Fulvio (USA) (Off Feed) - €200

102B Barry Group Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Eastern Racer, ridden by K.J. Leonard, Mutadaawel, ridden by D.E. Sheehy, Mulzamm, ridden by J.M. Sheridan and Pepperoni Pete, ridden by J.P. Shinnick, where it appeared Mulzamm got tight for room on the rails. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.M. Sheridan gave his evidence in the presence of J. McAuley. J.P. Shinnick gave his evidence in the presence of S. Lyons. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found K.J. Leonard in breach of Rule 214 through careless riding and having taken his record into account suspended him for 1 race day. The Stewards further found D.E. Sheehy in breach of Rule 214 through careless riding and having taken his record into account cautioned him.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Massa Lubrense, ridden by B.M. Coen, Mutadaawel, ridden by D.E. Sheehy, Waterboy, ridden by S.M. Crosse, and Mulzamm, ridden by J.M. Sheridan. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B.M. Coen gave his evidence in the presence of B. Slattery. S.M. Crosse gave his evidence in the presence of B. Powell. J.M. Sheridan gave his evidence in the presence of J. McAuley. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards didn't attribute blame to any individual rider and took no further action.

102C Matchbook Straight Seven H'cap

The Stewards interviewed A.J. Farragher, rider of Time Stands Still (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 1 race day.

The Stewards interviewed K.J. Leonard, rider of Turbine, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned him.

102D Goffs Irish EBF Polonia Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cava, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

L.F. Roche, rider of Angelic Light trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't handle the ground.

102E O'Flynn Group (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards informed D. K. Weld, trainer that Search For A Song, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Istoria, ridden by G.F. Carroll, and Sandstorm Annie, ridden by C.D. Maxwell, where it appeared Istoria got bumped. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards gave the benefit of the doubt to G.F. Carroll on this occasion.

102F Dar Golf Construction H'cap

The Stewards fined G.T.Lynch, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Ashqar, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Ashqar in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

The Stewards received a report from Ms. Avena O'Keeffe , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that W.T. Byrne, rider of Pointsevenk, trained by W.J. Martin, presented himself to weigh out 2lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he hadn't flagged the overweight due to an oversight. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the rider to carry the overweight on this occasion but were satisfied that he was in breach of Rule 198 (vii)(a) and having taken his record into account imposed a fine of €150.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Havana Breeze, trained by Miss Hilary McLoughlin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung right in the straight.

102G Coolmore Stud Irish EBF (C&G) M'dn

R.P. Whelan, rider of Karakhan, trained by M.Halford, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left in the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Made My Day trained by Aidan F. Fogarty was found to have blood on the nose as a result of an exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage.
