334A Clonmel M'dn H'dle

A.E. Lynch, rider of Hitdroadjack trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got tired.

334B Powerstown H'cap H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Loupgarou (FR), trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

334C Jim Strang & Sons Kilsheelan H'dle

The Stewards enquired from P. Townend, rider of Coquin Mans (FR), who fell on the flat in this race. The rider reported that his mount stumbled independently for no apparent reason. Having considered the report and viewed a recording of the race, the Stewards took no further action.

Miss E.A. Lalor, rider of Carrigeen Acebo trained by R.H. Lalor, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount gurgled quite badly during the last circuit.

334D Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Stewards fined Donald Cashman, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Ned's Indian, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

334E Clonmel Supporters Club Beg. S'chase

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Monbeg Chit Chat (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race and sustained an over reach on his left fore leg and superficial wounds to his left hind limb.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Mindsmadeup trained by James G.Sheehan was found to have had blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage post race.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Monbeg Chit Chat (GB) trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

The Stewards informed Thomas P.O'Connor, trainer of Lilshane, that a repeat performance of the behaviour of his charge such as today's may liable his charge for a suspension in the future.

334F Club Stand Restaurant H'cap S'chase

The Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the home turn involving Just Get Cracking, ridden by P.T. Enright, Black Scorpion, ridden by Mr R.W. Barron, and Star Counsel, ridden by C.D. Meehan, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

334G Next Meeting Jan 11th (QR) (C&G) Mdn Hdl

Mr D.G. Lavery, rider of Coeur De Beauchene (FR) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. P. Malone , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr P. Magee , rider of Tipp Toe , weighed in at 1.4 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. P. Magee was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore cautioned him regarding his future responsibilities.
