365A Surehaul Race Day (Mares) M'dn H'dle

A.E. Lynch, rider of Decision Time trained by John E. Kiely, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and pulled up thereafter.

B.J. Foley, rider of Slieve Coillte trained by Michael Winters, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Turanga Lilly trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very green throughout the race.

365B Derrygrath M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined Edward U.Hales, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Rough Night, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

R. Loughran, rider of Mohart trained by James Daniel Dullea, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.

365C Surehaul Mercedes-Benz Novice H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Monkshood, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be distressed post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Burren Life trained by Gordon Elliott was distressed post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Moonshine Bay trained by Mrs John Harrington was coughing post race.

365D Minorstown H'cap H'dle

L.P. Gilligan, rider of Rock On Bach trained by Thomas P. Cummins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Coole Craft, trained by R.Donohoe, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Littlestickarubarb trained by Adrian Maguire pulled both front shoes.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Glen's Dd trained by Garrett James Power pulled her right fore shoe.

The Stewards requested a report from Eamonn O'Connell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Sunset Sadie, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mr.O'Connell stated that she disappointed on her previous run in Limerick for no apparent reason and other than a liking for the track, he could offer no other explanation for todays improved performance. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation.

365E MicrodogID Beginners S'chase

T. Ryan, rider of Robbina trained by W. Harney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount gurgled all the way.

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for fences 1 and 2 to be omitted from this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Monbeg Chit Chat (GB) trained by Henry de Bromhead was post race normal.

365G Ballydine Beginners S'chase

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for fences 1 and 2 to be omitted from this race.

The Stewards interviewed Mr C.L. Murphy, rider of So Influential, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency and having considered his record, cautioned him.
