The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.S. McGarvey replaced M.A. Enright on Turasoir, trained by John W. Nicholson (Race 1)(injured)
R.A. Doyle rode Superefficient (reserve), trained by Ms Michelle Duggan (Race 1)
B.J. Cooper replaced J.W. Kennedy on Mistamel, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 3)(injured)
J.S. McGarvey replaced J.W. Kennedy on Mister Minor, trained by Michael Hourigan (Race 4)(injured)
P.T. Enright replaced B.M. Cash on Rebel Turn, trained by W.J. Burke (Race 5)(injured)
J.S. McGarvey replaced M.A. Enright on Bullowney, trained by Garrett James Power (Race 6)(injured).
D. Meyler replaced J.W. Kennedy on Rebel Cry, trained by Norman Lee (Race 6)(injured).
E. O'Connell rode Kings Mistress (reserve), trained by Donncha Duggan (Race 6)

110A Ancient East (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined R.K. Watson, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Sylvi, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Lareena (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal(samples taken for analysis).

D.E. Mullins, rider of Maudlin Magdalen, trained by Donal Kinsella, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was green in the early stages and jumped deliberately throughout.

110C Quirke uPVC Windows (Clonmel) H'cap H'dl

A.E. Lynch, rider of Magnetic Force trained by Robert Alan Hennessy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost it's action in the straight.

R.P. Treacy, rider of Rock On Barney trained by G.T.Lynch, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount struck into himself.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference after the last hurdle involving Stormey, ridden by D.F. O'Regan, placed first and Fiesole (GB), ridden by A. Ring, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and took no further action.

110E Irish Stallion Farms EBF H'cap H'dle

D.E. Mullins, rider of Presenting Mahler, trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left in the straight.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined You Can't Catch Me, trained by Kieran Purcell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

110F Sliabh Na mBan H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident after the turn into the straight involving Rockey Storm, ridden by B.T. O'Connell, Tintown Robin, ridden by P.T. Enright, Royal Roslea (GB), ridden by A.E. Lynch, Bullowney, ridden by J.S. McGarvey, Rebel Cry, ridden by D.Meyler, Courtin Bb, ridden by C. Brassil, and Emerald Honours, ridden by A. McCurtin. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental,caused by general bunching and took no further action. Mr. James Kennedy, Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry.

R.P. Treacy, rider of Bobbythegangster, trained by Donald Cashman, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost it's action.

110G Friday June9th BBQ Clonmel (M) Flat Race

Mr. D.T. McGrath, rider of Boolavondream trained by David J. McGrath, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped in the early stages and pulled up.

The Stewards received a report from P.L. Malone, Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr R. James, rider of Flirting Lesa, weighed in at 1.2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his clean record, cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities in this regard. Mr. James Kennedy, Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Blixt, ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, placed second and Ladysingstheblues, ridden by Mr D.J. Benson, placed first. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings, they were however of the opinion that Mr. Benson was in breach of Rule 214, in that he rode carelessly and having considered his clean record, suspended him for one race day. Mr. James Kennedy, Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry.
