032A Munster H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Victory Mill, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be Post Race Normal.

D. Meyler, rider of Cliffside Park, trained by Eoin Doyle, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very keen.

032D Kilsheelan Beginners S'chase

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Some Drama trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled on the ground.

032E Bishop Auckland Theatre H'cap S'chase

D.N. Russell, rider of Mr Eko trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled on the ground and was pulled up.

032F Kilmolash (QR) H'cap H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Accordion Twilight, trained by W.J.Lanigan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be Post Race Normal.

032G Powerstown INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr C.M. Healy, rider of Sliabh Donn, placed fifth, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion Mr C.M. Healy was in breach of Regulation 10 3 (f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency and Regulation 10 4 in that he had failed to give his mount time to respond, and having taken his record into account, they suspended him for 4 racedays. Furthermore, they ordered that he attend RACE for 1 days tuition on the correct use of the whip.
