The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Noel Lawlor, trainer of Herbiegoesbananas (No passport lodged) - €350

320A I.N.H. Stallion Owners EBF M'dn H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Berry Des Aulmes (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

W. Harney, trainer of The Canny Man, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Friday, 18th November, that his charge scoped abnormally at home post race.

320B Clonmel Oil Race Day H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident at the bottom of the hill on the final circuit involving Jim Will Fix It, ridden by Mr S.R. Byrne, unplaced, Thats Mypresenting, ridden by B.T. O'Connell, placed third and Sizing Scorpion, ridden by M.A. Enright, unplaced, where it appeared that Jim Will Fix It ran short of room and collided with the running rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by general bunching and took no further action.

320C Clonmel Oil Service Station H'cap H'dle

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, P.L. Malone, that B.R. Dalton, rider of Little Haarth, had weighed in at 1.6lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was using a light saddle but had a half a cup of tea after weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that B.R. Dalton was in breach of Rule 231 and therefore suspended him for 1 raceday having taken his clean previous record into consideration.
