The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Ms. Lisa O'Neill rode Station Closed (reserve), trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 6)

027A Munster H'dle

R. Loughran, rider of Mr Champers trained by Adrian Paul Keatley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left in running.

John W. Nicholson, trainer of Ask Susan, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies that his charge was found to have scoped wrong post race.

027B Demesne (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Stewards received a report from Mr. P.L. Malone, Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that S.W. Flanagan, rider of Mary Frances, weighed in at 1.1 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that S.W. Flanagan was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.

The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Princess Mahler, ridden by A. McCurtin, and trained by John J. Walsh. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. A. McCurtin, stated that his instructions were to settle the mare in a good position towards the front and to try get her jumping and settled. He added that his charge was tired and unbalanced in the latter stages. John J. Walsh, confirmed the instructions but would not say that he was satisfied with the ride as he felt that the rider should have used the whip. The Stewards also received a report from the Turf Club Veterinary Officer who stated that Princess Mahler was post race normal. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found the rider in breach of Rule 212a(ii) and having considered his clean record in this regard, suspended him for five race days and ordered that he forfeit his riding fee. The Stewards noted the trainer's explanation.

027C Clonmel M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined Kieran Purcell, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Aaron Lad, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. Furthermore the Stewards withdrew Aaron Lad in accordance with this rule.

027D Kilsheelan Beginners S'chase

J.J. Doyle, rider of Tinos Tank trained by P.M.J. Doyle, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost his action and was pulled up.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Tinos Tank trained by P.M.J. Doyle was lame on his right hind post race.

027E Nire Valley H'cap S'chase

D. Meyler, rider of Pashtunwali trained by Eoin Griffin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst blood vessels.

027F Kilmolash (QR) H'cap H'dle

The Stewards received a report from Mr.P.L.Malone , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr M.C. O'Donovan , rider of Clounts Meadows , weighed in at 1.2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.

027G Powerstown INH Flat Race

Mr E. Walsh, rider of Chrisandra trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not act on the heavy ground.

Mr W.T. Cronin, rider of Ktelama trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not act on the heavy ground.
