166A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards received a report from Ms Joan Taylor MRCVS, Turf Club Veterinary Officer, that the passport for Tanksalot, trained by F. Birrane had not been lodged within the time stipulated under Rule 90. Having considered the report the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Tanksalot and imposed a fine of €350 on the trainer concerned.

166B Inter Vintners Challenge Race Night Hcap

The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving stalls involving Calm Bay, ridden by P.J. Smullen, Nora Batt, ridden by O.J. Orr, and Megans Legacy, ridden by G.P. Brouder, where it appeared Calm Bay and Megans Legacy suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found O.J. Orr in breach of Rule 211 (marker poles) and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day. The Stewards further found O.J. Orr in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having take his record into account suspended him for three race days.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Paytheprice (GB), trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount slipped on leaving stalls.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Calm Bay trained by H.Rogers, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount suffered interference shortly after leaving stalls.

M.C. Hussey, rider of For The Craic, trained by Adrian Brendan Joyce, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hit a ridge after two furlongs.

166D Lougher Stables H'cap

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Buonarotti Boy, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Buonarotti Boy trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

166F Seamus Mulvaney Crockafotha H'cap H'dle

D.N. Russell, rider of Casual Approach trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount raced keenly.

166G Irish Mirror Novice H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Cradle Mountain, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be have lost its off-fore shoe on post race examination but was otherwise clinically normal.
