The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Damian Joseph English, trainer of Ask Dad (GB) (Off Feed) - €200

167A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Med. Auct. M'dn

P.D. Deegan, trainer of Magwadiri, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Wednesday 27th July that his charge has had a wind operation since this run..

167B Irish Stallion Farms EBF Med. Auct. M'dn

The Stewards informed David Harry Kelly, trainer that Eadaoins Pet, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

P.B. Beggy, rider of Clandestin trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung throughout and was eased.

The Stewards received a complaint from David Harry Kelly, trainer of Eadaoins Pet, withdrawn by the Starter for refusing to load, that his filly was not given a fair and equal chance to load before being withdrawn.
Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned and from Mr J.R. Banahan, Turf Club Starter.
Having viewed the attempted loading of Eadaoins Pet and considered the evidence, the Stewards referred the matter onto the Chief Executive of the Turf Club for further investigation.

167E(i) Jim Fuller Memorial H'cap (Division One)

S. Foley, rider of Shirley trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her action and was eased.

167E(ii) Jim Fuller Memorial H'cap (Division Two)

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving In Our Blood, ridden by R.P. Whelan, Oor Jock, ridden by O.J. Orr, and Dea Dia, ridden by M.C. Hussey, where it appeared In Our Blood suffered interference causing him to slip up and unseat R.P. Whelan. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion O.J. Orr was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having taken his record into account, they suspended him for 3 racedays.

R.D. Dolan, rider of Duke Of Mornington trained by Donal Kinsella, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount missed the break.

C.P. Hoban, rider of Harcimc trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise and was eased.
