The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

W.J.Lanigan, trainer of Pivotal Flame (Off Feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L.P. Dempsey rode Youngnedofthehill (reserve) , trained by Shane Nolan (Race 5)
Mr. B. O'Neill replaced Mr J.J. Codd on Lady Of Elysium, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 7)(Injury)
D. Meyler replaced J.M. Moore on Shes Gold, trained by Thomas Mullins (Race 4)(Injury)
R.M. Power replaced J.M. Moore on Deburrafield, trained by Gavin Cromwell (Race 5)(Injury)
D.N. Russell replaced J.S. McGarvey on Punches Cross, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 6)(Injury)

125A BetVictor M'dn H'dle

The Stewards received a report from P.L. Malone, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that K.C. Sexton, rider of Beechmount Maisie, weighed in at 1.1 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he drank a glass of water after weighing out which may have accounted for the overweight on weighing-in. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that K.C. Sexton was in breach of Rule 231 (iii) and having taken extenuating circumstances into account they severely cautioned him.

125C Monroes John Monroe Memorial (M) Hcp Hdl

J.S. McGarvey, rider of Feeling The Love trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Feeling The Love, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled her left hind shoe but was otherwise post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dixie Lee, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

125D Bank Of Ireland H'cap H'dle

R.P. Treacy, rider of Flattothemat (GB) trained by S.J.Mahon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung very badly.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Dragon Queen trained by M. Flannery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

P Townend, rider of Shes Gold trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up having got badly hampered.

The Stewards interviewed S.J.Mahon, trainer, regarding the late arrival of two of his horses into the Parade Ring prior to this race. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that he had four runners in this race and that one of his charges was particular difficult when he tried to apply the tongue tie. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards cautioned the trainer to ensure he complies with Rule 32 (ii)in future.

125E Tim Kelly Group H'cap H'dle

Owing to low-lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for the hurdle past the stands to be omitted from this race

A. Ring, rider of Classic Escape trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped a bit left.

D.F. O'Regan, rider of Steel Cap trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up lame.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Callthebarman, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

Due to a medical emergency in the parade ring, the Stewards gave permission for runners to go directly from the stable yard to the track and be mounted there for this race.

125F BetVictor H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dakota Moirette (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled a right hind shoe and to have a wound to its left fore leg.
