157A John Madden & Sons Claiming M'dn

The Stewards requested a report from Adrian McGuinness, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of All The Mollies, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge missed the break in Dundalk on her first handicap and ran well in the circumstances. He added that the horse struggled from a bad draw at Navan on it's last start. The trainer concluded by saying that today's drop in class on slightly softer ground helped his charge return to form. Having considered the report the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Cul An Ti, trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

157B Tierney's Foxhall H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from Gavin Cromwell, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Greenpanda, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge disappointed at Navan on its last start, on ground quicker than ideal. He added that today's change in tactics by jumping out handy coupled with the re-application of blinkers helped his charge return to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

157C Costello & McDermott Apprentice H'cap

T.P. Madden, rider of Lean And Keen trained by Sean Byrne, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

The Stewards requested a report from M. Flannery, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Palmones, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that he fitted a cross noseband for today's run, having noticed that his charge ran with its mouth open on the last start. He added that today's change in tactics, by riding a waiting race, appeared to help his charge return to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

157F Treacy's Pharmacies Irish EBF (F) H'cap

K.J. Leonard, rider of Little Stampy, trained by D.Broad, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled in the early stages.

157G Brendan McNulty Memorial M'dn

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Powersbomb, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed third and High Haven, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and took no further action.
