The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.J. Mullins rode Sir Vincent (reserve), trained by H. Beggs (Race 6)
C.D. Timmons rode Mississippi John (reserve), trained by Garry Caldwell (Race 6)

193A Paddy Smyth Memorial M'dn H'dle

D.E. Mullins, rider of English Pale trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

A.E. Lynch, rider of Billy's Angel trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount emptied.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Billy's Angel, trained by Adrian Murray, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined English Pale, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

193C Tim Kelly Group H'cap H'dle

D.E. Mullins, rider of Bawntameena trained by William Hayes, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Ashjan (GB), trained by Mark Michael McNiff, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Ashjan (GB) trained by Mark Michael McNiff was found to have mucus on its lungs on endoscopic examination.

193D Investec Rated Novice H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Treasure Chest trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien was blowing hard and lame post race having lost a shoe in running.

J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Lambs Lane trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount would prefer softer ground.

193E McGrath Limestone Works Ltd. H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the final hurdle involving Highway Royal, ridden by C. Brassil, and Pat's Pearl, ridden by M.J. Bolger, where Pat's Pearl appeared to cock its jaw and carry Highway Royal off its course. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference was accidental and took no further action.

193F Sweeney Oil H'cap H'dle

The Stewards fined H. Beggs, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Sir Vincent, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

D.N. Russell, rider of Bee An Aristocrat trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount finished distressed.

T.N. Brett, rider of Phantasmo, trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran out of racing room and caught a heel in running.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Bee An Aristocrat, trained by Paul W. Flynn, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

193G McWilliam Park Hotel INH Flat Race

Mr C. Kiernan, rider of Kinnagoe Boy, trained by John G. Carr, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he was accidentally unseated in the back straight.
