The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

I.Madden, trainer of Carlyle My Son (FR) (Vaccinations demonstrably incorrect) - €350

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Rachael Blackmore replaced B. Hayes on Diggin Deep, trained by R.Donohoe (Race 6)(Injury)

197A Cawe Ceilings Murphy's Bar M'dn H'dle

C.A. Landers, rider of Gossip Central trained by John G. Carr, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped very green.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Dragon Queen trained by M. Flannery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't let herself down on the ground.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. P.L. Malone , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that R.A. Doyle , rider of I'm Not Alone , weighed in at 1.2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he took a drink after weighing out which may have accounted for the overweight on weighing-in. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that R.A. Doyle was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his record in this regard imposed a suspension of two race days on the rider.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Five Gems trained by S.J.Mahon was found to have blood on both nostrils post race, possibly as a result of a fall.

197B Mayo News M'dn H'dle

A.W. Short, rider of Licklighter trained by Patrick G.Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped during the race and his mount never travelled.

R. Loughran, rider of Benefit Run, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his saddle slipped after the fifth hurdle and he became unseated.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Licklighter, trained by Patrick G.Kelly, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be have a minor wound on his right fore cannon and blood on his right nostril post race.
Samples were taken for analysis.

197C Irish Stallion Farms EBF H'cap H'dle

The Stewards fined Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer, €65, as his charge, Nulife, entered the parade ring missing its declared equipment.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Oskar High trained by Norman Lee, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and got tight for room on the bend and pulled up.

197D Investec Rated Novice H'dle

A.W. Short, rider of Olive D'haguenet (FR) trained by I.Madden, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cheap And Cheerful (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race and made an abnormal respiratory noise.

197F Sweeney Oil H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Glasson Lad trained by Mrs Ann Mooney was found to be showing evidence of an exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage on post race examination.

The Stewards requested a report from Norman Lee, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Doctor P's Getaway, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. The trainer reported that this horse did not appreciate the tacky ground at Tipperary in its most recent run and also may have benefitted from the application of a tongue strap for the first time today. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted its contents.
