074A Connacht Tribune (Mares) M'dn H'dle

T.N. Brett, rider of Devine Star trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left and ran out at the second last hurdle.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Edna (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled a right fore shoe in running and suffered an over reach to her right fore leg.

074B McWilliam Park Hotel (C&G) M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined Robert Tyner, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Turpin Tale (GB), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

D.J. McInerney, rider of Bergkamp (GB) trained by Patrick G.Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran green and made silly mistakes.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bergkamp (GB), trained by Patrick G.Kelly, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

074C1 P & D Lydon H'cap H'dle

The Stewards requested a report from S.J.Mahon, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Carrig Cathal (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. S.J. Mahon stated that this was his charges third run from his yard. In his first run, Carrig Cathal was unknown to him and jumped badly. In his last run at Fairyhouse, S.J. Mahon fitted a tongue tie for the first time and expected a better run from his charge however he stopped quickly on heavy, difficult conditions. In the opinion of S.J. Mahon, today's shorter distance suited his charge better and explained his improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

L.P. Dempsey, rider of Chatham Street Lad, trained by Michael Winters, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled on the ground.

074C2 P & D Lydon H'cap H'dle

D.F. O'Regan, rider of Speaker Connolly trained by Alan Fleming, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran disappointingly.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pete So High (GER), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Speaker Connolly, trained by Alan Fleming, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

The Stewards interviewed J.W. Kennedy, rider of Pete So High (GER), concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

074D Killeen Sportsgrounds H'cap H'dle

C.A. Landers, rider of Mary Frances, trained by Martin Hassett, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got very tired.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mary Frances, trained by Martin Hassett, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be distressed post race.

074G Malone Engineering I.N.H. Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hammerstein (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race, to have pulled a right fore shoe and suffered an over reach on its right fore leg.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Petit Tartare (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.
